Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a simple method for clear, empathic communication. It involves 4 steps:
(1) Sharing Observations (2) Expressing Feelings (3) Expressing Needs (4) Making Requests
NVC is a way for everyone involved to express themselves and potentially get needs met -- without guilt, humiliation, shame, blame, coercion, or threats.
